A Word Now and Then

I've been having a pretty bad day today.  
A lot of crazy things going on right now but we need not go into it.  
But, earlier today I was doing some on-line research and this popped up:

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths.

 -- Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV 

Sometimes when I least expect it, a word now and then puts me back on course. 
And, I am reminded that God holds me in His hand.
He has done so since I was a child.
And He did not bring me this far so I could turn back now.
